Chicken & Brown Rice Pilaf

One again the recipe that i got from a rice box i will going to share it with you.

1 tbsp oil
4 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1lb.)
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
1/2 cup water
2 cups minute brown rice, uncooked
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup frozen peas


1. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken is cooked through (179 degrees F). Remove chicken from skillet; cover to keep warm.
2. Add chicken broth and water to skillet; bring to boil.
3. Stir in rice, mushrooms, onions and peas. Top with chicken; Reduce heat to medium-low; cook 5 min. Remove from heat; let stand 5 min.
