Mexican Breakfast
The other day hubby fixed a Mexican breakfast for us. I always admire him when we talk about cooking because he is good at it. i feel like a princess who offered a flower from the prince heheh dreaming(wink). we enjoyed our breakfast and I am surprised my son ate almost the whole big tortilla. I ate only one since it was a big piece of tortilla plus all the stuff that you can see in the picture was on that tortilla. Hubby is a big Mexican eater and he love it since he was there last 2004. He was with his co members in there church doing a missionary works. He was surprised when he first ate the Mexican food that was very hot. Their food was known to be hot and spicy. Since then hubby love it and we have an agreement if we eat out lunch time its my choice (Chinese food) and in the supper time it is his choice and that is a Mexican food. So try to look at the picture it is a good thing I married a good cook.
Scenic Sunday
It has been a while since I last posted by entry here in Scenic Sunday and I am sorry about that. The picture below was taken last week my very first snow here in our place. All the people in our place are happy because since 2003 they did not have any snow. When the snow came last week everybody is happy and some people just walking the street just like summer time. Hubby and i with our son also have a nice drive that day we have a snow. The place was filled with snow and looks pretty. I remembered my first snow in Utah that I really enjoyed it. My son and I have a great time playing with the snow. Some people hate it but we love it. So here is my son just rooming around and feel the coldness of the snow.

* Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away. Sometimes we are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong that we forget what's right and wrong. Sometimes we just don't realize what real friendship means until it is too late. I don't want to let that happen so I'm gonna tie you to my heart so I never lose you.

Fried Dough Stick (Yu Tiao)
Ingredients:300g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp alum
1 tsp soda powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ammonia
200ml water
Method:
1. Filter flour and baking powder, pour slum, soda powder, salt and ammonia into a bowl and add water to mix well. Then, add this mixture to the filtered ingredients and mix till they become a soft dough. Leave for 15 mins.
2. Knead the dough till it has a smooth surface and is springy. Leave for 15 mins and repeat the process 3 times.
3. Let the dough ferment for 4 hours. Place it on a board sprinkled with flour. Using hands with flour on them, knead the dough into a long roll.
4. Cut it into smaller pieces and stack 2 pieces together.
5. Using a thin roller with flour on it, press on the center part of the stacked dough so that they stick to each other better.
6. Pull lightly to make them a little longer before placing them into hot oil to boil. When frying, remember to flip the dough constantly with long chopsticks so as to ensure even frying.
7. After filtering dry the oil, they are ready for consumption.

Scenic Sunday
It has been a long time since I post my entry in Scenic Sunday because of my busy life and being lazy sometimes. (wink) I have a bunch of pictures to share but I just choose the picture below. This was taken last December 29, 2008 when we are inside the mall looking for sales and wanting to rooming around the mall. I saw this decorations for the Christmas and I am glad we went there. It was very nice creativity of the workers in that mall. I have another one in another mall picture and it was nicer than this but I forgot to download the pictures in my computer. Once in a while I take care of a friend's daughter who was 10 years old. She likes to play online and ask me if she can borrow my computer. Hubby was concerned about her playing online without parental control so he decided to make another account for our guest to use our computer. Busy Life
It has been a busy week for me since I am not really feeling good, and my computer also sometimes the server is not great. I am sometimes posting my other blog which is one of my priority blog and the rest after that. I able to drop also my Entrecard to my fellow entrecarders but sometimes some of them will not drop me back. I am hoping that my page rank will back one day and Mr. Google will hear me because my blog is not having paid post anymore since it is page rank zero. Hoping one day I am back to have a paid post at least you know already. Hope also that this 2009 will bring us a good and fruitful year. Thank you for coming here once again. May God bless us always.
